DARLING SQUARE MOON FESTIVAL

Join us as we celebrate Moon Festival with a large scale illuminated lantern installation that will light up Darling Square every night from 6 – 22 September 2024. Feast your way through a variety of cuisines at over 50 restaurants, enjoy exclusive offers at selected retailers and indulge in decadent mooncakes at XOPP by Golden Century’s pop-up stall.

Witness the mesmerising LED lion dancing and be amazed by the talented live singers as you dine and unwind. Bring the kids along for free face painting and a clay mooncake making workshop that will keep the kids entertained all day long!

The Moon Festival, also known as Mid Autumn Festival celebrates the Autumn harvest and originates from the ancient Chinese practice of moon worshipping to express gratitude for the year's harvest and blessings. Originating in China, the festival is also celebrated across various countries in Asia including Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Singapore. Moon Festival is a time to connect with family and friends, honour the full harvest moon and enjoy a feast and mooncakes with loved ones.
